Fanooki Didn't ship order Internet, Internet
I purchased this promotion through KGB's - Deal-A-Day program. They were offering contour memory foam pillows for $28 / pair. I paid KGB and they delivered the voucher as promised but when I entered the KGB voucher as instructed, Fanooki charged me an additional shipping charge but never bothered to actually ship. To date they have not shipped the items and have been evasive in responding. They do not respond to e-mail and although they have promised shipping on the phone, they have not lived up to those promises.
A deeper investigation shows that this company seems to only exist to sell through deal-a-day offers and can't demonstrate any real business sold at the prices posted in their web site. Instead they present themselves as offering great discounts, don't appear to maintain adequate inventory, blame their suppliers and don't need to worry about customer service as they don't seem to even expect return direct sales.
To any consumer seeing a Deal-A-Day offer form Fanooki, I suggest staying away. To Deal-A-Day companies, I suggest not running their offers as they are not living up to basic service standards. I did notice that while they run on a lot of smaller and regional sites, I haven't seen them on Groupon or Living Social. I wonder if that's because these companies have a vested interest in making sure thier offers are legit.
