Complaint Review: Fantasy Islands

I ordered an eight foot island, including an umbrella, on April 10th. I paid almost $4,000 for the entire thing, and it was delivered, minus the umbrella, sometime in May. Luckily, we got the island.

The umbrella, however, was never received. I paid $300 for an umbrella I could have easily purchased somewhere else but wanted to do a one-stop shop. They told me at the time of installation that they were out of umbrellas, and would be receiving more in a couple of weeks. I called two weeks later and was told one would be shipped out to me that weekend. It never came.

I finally followed up again last week and alas, all of the phone numbers are disconnected. I'm grateful we at least had our island installed, but I am definitely not okay with being out several hundred dollars for an umbrella I was told was shipped to me over a month ago. I'm doing everything I can at this time to find someone at that company I can speak with.
