On March 3, 2010, I placed an order of $84.31 with Farmer Seed & Nursery.  Their shipping policy states "Please allow 1-2 weeks for your order to be processed."  Today is April 28th.  Last week, April 25th,  I sent an email to the company asking when they were going to ship my order.  After sending that email, I sent another one asking to add two trees to the order.  I recieved an answer to the request for two more trees saying that since the order has already begun to ship we are unable to add to the order at this time.

Today I called the company, at 7:00 AM.  The answering service informed me that their office hours were from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.  At 8:02, I called the company again.  I got the answering service informing me about the office hours.  I called again at 8:04 AM.  Same thing.  Again, at 8:10, I called and got to talk to Chris.  She informed me that I couldn't add to this order.  I asked her to cancel the entire order and return my money.  She told me that I would have to write a formal letter to the company in Bloomington, Il requesting my money back.  She also told me that she would have to see if she could cancel the order and went to see if it had been shipped.  It had not been shipped at that point.

I have a problem with a company that doesn't want to add to your order, that charges your credit card right away, and that doesn't correspond with you about an order.  I'm afraid to do business with this type of company.

I asked for the owner of the company and the address to write to him.  She informed me that the owner is Richard Owen and gave me the address.
