Farmers Insurance-Agent Armstrong Oruh Agent refused to cancel my life insurance policy. I had to threaten with civil suit to make him stop billing me for the policy. In the mean time, I was charged 140 dollars because it took two months to get him to stop. Marietta Georgia
I started doing business with this agent in 2015. Everything was fine in the beginning, but suddenly I needed to drop an insurance policy I had with him. I contacted him by email and asked him to cancel it and send confirmation. I admit, that I forgot to check my email or follow up with him but once I did, I noticed he sent an email advising me in bold letters NOT TO CANCEL THE POLICY. By this time, I had been charged again, I asked him again but I was ignored and charged again another time as well. I had to threaten legal action in order to get him to stop the ACH debits coming from my account. It would have been too time consuming to cancel my account with the bank and get a new one. I asked for a refund; it has been two months and i have yet to receive any monies owed. Beware of this agent, I met him at a local restaurant where he was soliciting business in the parking lot. I thought I was helping out a fellow man by switching all of my policies over to his struggling company. Now, here it is 8 months later, and I am in this situation. Buyer beware.
