I am an enraged customer of the Fast N' Clean car wash, located at 4881 Sinclair Rd, Columbus, OH 43229. My husband and I took our new Honda Pilot (have only owned for 3 days) to the Fast N' Clean car wash this afternoon at 12:05 p.m.

We have been there before, but with my husband's truck. Long story short, after going through this car wash, we now have a damaged vehicle with paint missing down the entire passenger side, scratches running along side and dents on the front bumper and scratches on our hood.

Who knew that going to a car wash, where one expects their car's exterior to be pampered, would result in body damage. The tracks that the business runs, in which one's vehicle is put in to neutral and the left tires ride along in the track and the vehicle is pushed by the machinery owned and run by the business, are faulty.

This is not the only time that this has happened either. The car in front of us was forced off of the track, resulting in our car to hit them, not once but twice, all the while we are honking at the attendants to stop the track. Our car had to continue through the wash to get out, naturally. But that right there resulted in damage down the side of our vehicle because the track pushed us over and over in to the vehicle, mis-aligning our wheels and swerving our car around inside the car wash.

The attendants who dried our car even had concerned looks on their faces as they wiped over the scratches. The manager basically told us all (my husband and I and the lady in the car in front of us) to bug off and that he was not going to listen to us or do anything for us because he had more cars to clean. He said "it was the risk we were willing to take".

We were not about to take that for the final answer to this. My husband I work very hard, and we spent hard earned money on this new car, that we wanted to keep clean and take care of! So we naturally went to a car wash to preserve it. But when that car wash, a private business, is operating with faulty equipement that results in property damage, how are they held accountable? We filed a police report and of course contacted our insurance. However, our insurance tells us they have no idea how this will end up because they have never handled a case like this. Well, my answer to all of this is, that this company/ business needs to answer to all of the complaints of damages that they have caused to us and many other people.

On The Better Business Bureau website they have many complaints from people who had damage done to their vehicles after going to the car wash and all have gone unanswered from the manager of the car wash. Who is going to hold this business responsible? My husband and I now have to spend more money, to fix our new car, after going to a car wash! It is ridiculous.

The public should be informed that this business WILL cause damage to the exterior of cars. They will not work with you when it does happen, and they will not answer to complaints. I do not think that anyone else, especially in this time, should have to deal with such horrible businesses that cheat you. My husband and I hope that this business learns that they can not continue doing this to their paying customers. Thank you for your time, I understand that this may not be a case that you normally take, but we had to try. This company sees no consequences for what they have done.

Thank you,
