Complaint Review: Fast Oil Change Inc.

 

Well, my story is that I took my vehicle to this place to be fixed because my car was running great and the next day it would not start.  So, per Dave, the person in charge, told me that the was problem with the timing chain and that I need it a new muffler, so since I was do for inspection, I told him to do the work and inspect the vehicle.  When the car was return to me it didn't want to run more than 35 mph and it shut off 2x trying to go home (which is less than 2 miles from the place).  I took the car back and the next day he said that my motor is gone.  Now he wants me to pay for a refurbished motor to be put on.  I went for one problem and I come out with no car. Oh by the way, the inspected the vehicle (which I have pictures).  Also, I wanted to speak to the owner and he (Dave) told me that he is not available until spring (which is now).  So the car was sitting in their lot for all this time and now I have a damage that supposedly a snow plot hit it in their lot but they don't want to take responsibilities for it also.  Now I just found out that the guy that was working on my vehicle got fired.  They believe he was not a good mechanic after all.  So, I still no car and they still don't want to take responsibilities for their action.  I wrote to consumer's affairs to see what would be my best option of this scenario.  So BE VERY CAREFUL!!
