In July of 2009 I ordered some amplification equipment from Fatboy Products (ChargerCharger.com) in the amount of nearly $900.00 and paid via PayPal. The price included nearly $45 in FedEx shipping charges with insurance, yet the items were shipped for a mere $16.00 via USPS mail and no insurance was purchased by the shipper.

I received the package nine days after ordering and paying for them. The items were fairly well packaged... apparently the only thing done well by these hacks, other than ripping people off.

To make a long story short, the merchandise did not work at all. It simply would not power up. Since Fatboy Products does not publish a telephone number on their website, I spent the next ten days trying to get hold of them via email. After six emails I finally received a very poorly written response by a man identified as Anthony Nastasi who's spelling and writing skills rival those of a first grade child.

His response was rude, arrogant and full of insulting insinuations. I was called stupid for sending multiple emails, although his website VERY CLEARLY indicates that they check and respond to their email multiple times each day.

I indicated that I wished to return the items for a refund, as my experience with them had left a poor taste and I wished to go another route. I was told that no refunds would be given, I was instructed to return the defective items to him at my cost for "inspection" and to see if the would cover repair or replacement. Either way, I would be responsible for all shipping costs associated with the return after "inspection" (another $45.00 for uninsured $16.00 USPS shipping). I was then called an idiot for asking what the standard return policy was.

STAY AWAY from these illiterate, ripoff d****ebags. Online research reveals that they also manufacture a line of illegal CB amplifiers and other CB-related merchandise.
