Complaint Review: Father And Son's Handyman - Joe Janas

As a customer of this company, it's been the biggest nightmare of my life to deal with them.

Every possible trick you could ever imagine is used by Joe Janas. There isn't a single excuse or lie that he won't tell. NOTHING he tells you, can be trusted.

Baits you in with low prices, gets a large deposit, then if you're lucky, perhaps the job will be completed, maybe.

What should take a few days to complete, can take many, many months.

Tries to keep you baited, by sending somene over to start the job, but then you're left with a mess. You keep calling him, he keeps promising a future date of when he'll show up, just to miss that date, then give you another date; but hardly ever shows up until he feels like it, or has no other job going on.

Keeps asking you for more money because either something wasn't exactly spelled out in the contract, or because he needs 'incentive' to show up again.

Don't believe their prices, even if in writing, because Joe will find a way to make you pay more money anyway.

Do yourself the biggest favor and never deal with Joe Janas or this company.
