Faye Robbins Did Not Complete Payment from Paypal/eBay purchase Macon Georgia
I had sold my Macbook Pro computer to this person on Wednesday, February 17 on eBay. This person and I communicated through text messaging after she said she would pay $755 to my PayPal account, for the shipment of this laptop and for the purchase of it.
I had then continued to receive emails from what I had thought was Paypal. Unfortunately, it turned out not to be. This person was sending me fraudulent emails about the shipment of the laptop. I received an email that said I was to send a tracking number to Paypal before I was to receive payment of the item.
I had not done purchases through ebay/Paypal before so I did not think this was a scam or think that there would be a problem. Paypal should be a "secure" site. So, the item was shipped and I sent a tracking number to the email provided.
On Saturday of that same week, I received another text message from this person requesting a refund because apparently her account had been charged double. This was when I called Paypal to confirm payment of this item. No payment had ever been made. I had been scammed. And the package had already been delivered.
Please contact me for more information regarding this case including specific emails, text messages, and other such information as I would like this to be taken care of as soon as possible.

I am sorry that you got scammed, but by posting this, you have saved me from the same scam. I was selling an Iphone and was contacted by this person. Said she would send PayPal and I was a bit skeptical right off the bat because that's just my nature. She wanted it shipped overnight, so I asked her name and address where I would be shipping it so I could get shipping cost. She provided me the exact information that she gave you and I Googled her after she provided this information. That is when I found this ripoff report. I am sorry that you were robbed by this degenerate, but your story prevented me from being robbed as well and hopefully it will prevent someone from being victimized in the future.

This comment is for Morgan. Let's be clear, this is not just a rip off, this is a crime, and this person needs to be prosecuted. I hope you are able to make some progress against this scammer.
"Faye Robbins" also attempted to scam me out of an iPhone I had posted to Craigslist. They were supposed to be sending funds via Paypal and instead sent a bogus payment confirmation email... Same story as Morgan.
Fortunately, after Googling the contact information provided by the scammer, I was able to find this Morgan's report and knew better than to continue dealing with this person.
There's more good news. This person was foolish enough to provide their real physical address so I contacted Crime Stoppers in Macon, GA
