Complaint Review: FCB 1st Convenience Bank

Where do I begin?? I am an ex-employee of this Company, and I have sat here and read several reports about them and I just wanted to give an insiders account of how this place really works! First off I've been in retail banking for a decade and I have seen the right way to treat customers, meaning employees & account holders, and I've seen the wrong way. This place doesn't have any idea how to do it the right way. Their upper management doesn't understand what it means to appreciate your employees and your account holders. In fact not too ago, a new executive group was brought in from a Fortune 500 competitor to help clean up their crappy second rate image, but when the new exec started cleaning house and holding branch managers and district managers and everyone else responsible for the not doing anything and treating customers like dogs, they were pushed out and fired. You see...this bank functions on lazy a** people. The promote an atmosphere of ghetto high schoolers who speak in ebonics and have no respect for the place they work.

They purposefully charge customers knowing it causes severe overdrafts, hold deposits to cause fees, lose paperwork to hurt accounts, and promote unethical racial based employment opportunities. you want a promotion....ummm hope you're something others than causcasian!! This bank was originally developed to target military families out in Kileen and got into a lot of trouble for ripping off our miliary recruits because they didnt explain how accounts work. Then they push them into doing loans to cover the balances on overdrawn accounts to make even more money.  You have an idea on how to make things better...they don't care! In fact, if your not a manager they don't even want to hear it...why? Because the people in charge got there by hanging out at Black Finn in Addison,TX and getting drunk with HR, not by what they know. Hardly any of this banks branch managers could last a month at a real bank! They operate in Walmart for cryin out loud! i seriously could go on and on...but it didnt do anything then and it won't now...its because of places like this that people hate banks, and you can no longer work in a bank and make a decent living. Their motto is if you can do, we can do mo' betta'!!!
