In April 2020 I was searching websites for a wheel hub assembly.

Their automated system (where a car’s year, make, and model are input to verify fitment of a part) yielded a positive result.

To make doubly sure, I e-mailed, asking if the part in question would fit (provided vin number and part serial number).

Rep Gina Block replied ‘...I was able to confirm fitment based on VIN...’

On this basis, I ordered the part.

Install failed, mechanic found the part does not fit.

Complaint to FCP resulted in no return label, and only store credit, and claimed fault was mine.

After 12 days of argument, FCP finally sent a return label.

After 2 more weeks, and threat of lawsuit, FCP finally refunded part cost.

I then sued them for the $150 labor cost of failed install.

Won because they did not contest.
