Ok here goes, I contacted these guys to understand their busy on debt relief but when pressured to speak to one of their attorney's they freaked out, raising their voice and stating that they did not have access to that information. I tried to calm the guy down but no such luck, I had to hang up on the idiot. Basically here is the scam, they state they will repair your credit in 18 months. They want some money to do this and state that they use over 110 attorneys across the country. Well everyone knows that most attorney filing are done by paralegals and not the actual attorney. I just wanted to see if they were using reputable firms but no dice, they would not produce any information for me. As a consumer anyone can dispute their debt and the validity of such debt on their own and do not need an attorney or paralegal. Don't expect a rebuttal from these guys as they do not have a clue, they say that they are working with attorney but basically are using the credit reporting process to dipute your debt. The creditor have 30 days to remove the credit if they cannot prove it is justified by law. But can be placed back on later, the debt goes to a collection agency that has paid nothing for the right to collect so if they don't collect no money lost on their past, as they only get paid on what they collect. They have you log all calls from the collect agency and then turn around and threaten then with a harrassment law suit. So there you have it, the creditor removes the credit, the collection agency cannot collect and everything is gone, these guy want serious money to do this, and they never even talk to your creditors, so assume al risk here.

Federal Debt Relief System formerly DBA Carefree Debt Inc which went out of business. I know this because my ex-wife signed up with Carefree Debt Inc and ended up getting sued by a debt collector, Carefree didn't do anything for her no lawyer no assistance nothing.

Carefree came back to life as Federal Debt Relief System which is owned by some clown named Mark Cella.........they are a telemarketing "debt termination" scam. Check out their F grade on BBB, people should stay away from FDRS/Carefree Debt inc!
