Ten years ago, we were tricked by Gale into buying a piece of worthless dirt that still looks the same. She showed us pictures of developments and stated that it was exclusive land. Told us we would be the first few to own a piece in which we can start building within a few years. After purchasing the land, I was deployed to Iraq for 15 months only to return and find out that she was fired and no one at Feather bay could talk to me about my dirt.
I keep questioning them on why do they hold HOA meetings during weekdays because most land owners that they scammed have day jobs and can not travel to Brownwood to fight for ourselves. These individuals, namely the Developers, are the worse customer service group ever!!!!! They have our money and would not give a crap about us. I recommend we find an attorney outside of Brown County and begin the process for a class action lawsuit for misrepresentation, misappropriation of funds and failure to fulfill written agreements.
