I was scammed by FedMod in Jan 2009. I am still fighting for my refund in which Allison Hall at Fed Mod acknowledged that they owed in an email to me. They defrauded me out of $4190.00. I have filed complaints with the BBB of CA and FTC.

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) file charges of fraud against this company on 06-26-09.

If you used a credit card or debit card, get a copy of the "injuction" and charges filed by the FTC and show your bank or cc company. They will help you get a refund. This can be obtained by going to the FTC website.

FedMod was oh so very helpful until they got my money, and then they became ghosts. My mortgage companies never heard from them on my behalf. Their location 7555 location on Irvine Center Drive has been closed down and the phones disconnected, however, the owner is still operating under another name and in another location. I'm still trying to put him out of business for good and even in jail.

In March 2009, FedMod merged with Apply2save, another loan modification company. The FTC has filed against Apply2Save as well.
