Federal Pacific Credit Company has been attempting collection of this debt for nearly 10 years. I don't even know where this debt came from. Five years ago I sent a letter demanding verification of the debt, which went unanswered. The phone calls and letters stopped.

Since then I have moved across country from New England to Arizona. Three years ago the harassment began anew. It included constant phone calls, endless threats of lawsuit, and abusive language.

All traces of this debt have been removed from all credit reporting agency reports, and my credit rating is outstanding. But the barrage of letters and phone calls continued. Last year I filed a report with the FTC online against this company, which I never heard more about. The letters and phone calls stopped again.

I just received yet another letter. And if they're true to form, the phone calls will start again soon too. It's obvious after all this time that they're not going to sue me. The debt is past the statute of limitations. They never verified the debt. How do I get this to stop once and for all?
