Hi Everyone. I also wanted to tell my story about the letter I received From Feedback Research Services. The letter was dated on July 7, 2008. I received it a few days after that. The letter states that I have been picked as a "Mystery Shopper" in my area. It states that I will get a salary of 300$ per week increasing to $550/ week after 6 mos.

I received a letter, a registration sheet and a check for 3,100.00. I was to keep $300. Spend $100 in Walmart, Kmart, Home Depot, Sears or JC Penny. The other assignment was to send $2,535.00 by Money Gram and use the rest of the money towards the fee for the Money Gram and Gas. It gave instructions on what to look for etc and we had to fill out a sheet on our Money Gram experience and our Shopping experience and what we bought etc.

We stupidly decided that this sounds like a great opportunity- we just had a baby, and my husband is on workman's comp for an injury over the winter- we could have used the extra money (like everyone else). We tried to cash the check at our local bank and it was after 4 and they couldn't, so we deposited it. The next day we tried to take it out, but it had not cleared yet.

While at Walmart, buying our $100 item, we got a call from the bank security guy. He had us come in and asked us about the check and made copies of the paperwork we received. He told us it was a scam and that we were lucky that we didn't do anything yet. (When we got the phone call on the cell in Walmart- we put our item back).

He stated that he has had seveal people try to deposit the same type of thing. One girl had already sent the Money Gram! Since the bank is not responsibe for our mistakes, she lost her 2,535.00 and then had to give the bank money back, so she really lost $5000! Another girl had the money cashed, but still had it and was able to give it back.

It is so sad that these people are making so much money off of us hard working individuals who are trying to make money honestly. Some of us were using this as a 3rd or 4th source of income, because money is so tight. I hope this helps others who may have also received this letter and are trying to find out more about it before sending in the cash.
