I recently purchased two packages of Feit Electric "Ecobulb Plus Softwhite" CFL bulbs. Within three months, half of the bulbs have burned out. When I called customer service I was told that they needed some information off of the bulb. I told her that it has been thrown away but I did have the package. She said that no, she needed some batch information from the bulbs. I said, fine, I will pull one from the fixture. She said that no she had to have info off of the "bad bulbs". I asked her, "Do you mean to tell me that each individual bulb has its very own information?" (I had already told her that the bulbs were from the same batch). At that point she said that she needed me to SEND her the old bulbs. No thank you. And, after reading other customer's disgust with this company, I understand that they are crooked. Do not buy anything from these people, ever!

  I have no idea whether or not these bulbs are good, but your stance is completely unreasonable.   How do you expect a company to compensate you for bad bulbs if you don't sent them back?    Have you ever heard of it working that way with any company?   Seems to be they'd go broke if they just sent free bulbs to whomever called on the phone.    Your expectations are ridiculous.
