Sadanya SL Cuadra, Editor-In-Chief, FEMI Magazine, used my 501(c)(3) Not-For-Profit Educational organization's name and the name of a Domestic Violence Victim on their flyer to promote a gala event entitled The Purple Ribbon Affair. The company agreed, via verbal and email correspondence to donate proceeds to our organization in the memory of the Domestic Violence Victim. FEMI Magazine claimed there were no profits raised from the event, even though there were others who attended the event and  stated the event was a huge success. The event took place on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 8pm at the The American Legion Hall in Valley Stream, NY.

When I contacted Sadanya SL Cuadra regarding the record keeping of the event, she displayed a haughty attitude and a self-centeredness when asked about the event.. Sadanya claim it wasn't a success and she stated the "God's favor was not on this event. It was not His Will And I'm so okay with that."

Because of her flagrant disrespect towards our request and to present such records in a timely fashion, she has since excommunicated with our organization, making her activities appear to look shady and crooked, leaving us to believe they have used our good name, as well as the name of a person who was savagely murdered on February 7, 2013 to reap profits from the event for her business. As of today, there hasn't been any contact from Sadanya SL Cuadra, FEMI Magazine or any one from her staff in regards to the finalization of this event to show whether or not any portions of their profits are in process of being donated to our organization as promised. It clearly states on the original flyer: "In Loving Memory of Diane L. Parker a Portion of the Proceeds will be donated to The Dollicia F. Holloway Memorial Foundation, Inc, A 501(c)(3)Not For Profit Organization."

I do not recommend anyone considering to utilize the services of this 3rd class operation, if you plan on being used, mislead, disrespected and/or disregarded. We will look into other legal matters against this business immediately.

Here is a the website to FEMI Magazine, who used our organization's name and the name of Diane L. Parker, a victim of Domestic Violence. It's odd to host an affair in memory of Diane in September when October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
