Fenton Motors of Ardmore Fenton Honda Auto Fraud and Car Financing Scam Ardmore Oklahoma
We went to Fenton Honda to purchase a vehicle and advised them we were preapproved through our credit union for 2.9% financing through our credit union.
After every hard-core sales attempt to add every insurance in the book, which we refused, they told us we no longer qualified for the 2.9% financing because our credit score had dropped by 75 points.
They financed our vehicle through another bank at a higher interest rate.
When I later contacted our credit union and found out Fenton had lied to us, I contacted the dealership. They admitted they had lied and tore up the old contract and hand-delivered a new contract to our door. They also deducted $300 from the price of the vehicle at my insistence, as an apology for their deceptive practices.
If I would not have caught them in the lie they would have been more than happy to just go on down the road knowingly having screwed us on the vehicle financing.
I just want consumers to be aware of their practices.
