Fern Meadows Condominiums Inc screwed us over big time mistreated and ripped off ripped off and scammed mistreated and ripped off Portage Pennsylvania

This is reprt # 2 for this company. Mr. Rininger who is involved with this company has proven to be more upstanding than this company. He has agreed to try to rectify our situation.

They accused my husband of stealing money which was rightfully his or wasn't even stolen. They refused to let us look into the records to prove otherwise.

I have fallen behind on our condo fees & now they are tacking on fines & penalties when numerous others in the association have had the same problem with no such punishment. Now they plan on suing me for it.

I say if someone is having financial strains & you know the reasons why ( our son has leukemia ) why would you add more fines & money due when I can't even get caught up with the basics?!?

Then to turn it over stating we need the money for "operating expenses", whcih as it turns out are lining the pockets of an attorney to waste more of our hard earned cash!


They also said they were hacking down trees to expand our parking area so we all could park decently & that they were putting up "storgae units"- they are putting up garages. They said the individual owners of these would pay for them out of their own pocket but the contractors are here & it is coming out of FMC budget. The guise was "to finish the septic". BULL CRAP- LITERALLY!!!


There is an open cesspool of sewage sitting in out backyard of which no one seems concerned about. It has leeched onto the neighbors property- it has been there for years & we have small children who play outside frequently. No one seems motivated to get it corrected.

We took our concerns to the state DEP personnel but they are unconcerned as well. The sewage permit issued to repair the problem is now expired & they are still going on with the work, without obtaining a new permit.

Rip off? Ripped off, screwed over & now trying to make ME pay for it!!!

You should be finned by the HOA. If others are not being fined ask why so and so is not being fined. As for the lawyer fees. If they have a ceritaries certificate you'll be charged for the legals caused by work done becuase you are behind in common charges. Also they can play a lein on your property which will go on your credit report.
