I received a letter with a south african stamp on it that said I had won $350,000 and to contact to contact a Mary Green to receive further instructions. The letter also contained a cxheck written on Comercia Bank from a company called Evertek Computer Corporation the check is for $4350 and it was to cover a processing fee of $3850. Knowing that real lotteries do not require any processing fee i was suspicious. I went to my local Wells Fargo Bank and my personal banker called the Comercia Bank who verified the routing numbers and the account number, however when they called Evertek it was determined that this check was a fake. The other unusual part was the check was sent from South Africa on a US Bank and it was dated Sept 22, 2014 yet I did not receive it until November 28, 2014. The so called lottery company has offices in South Africa, Ireland and the UK asd well as the one in Los Angeles.
