I am a single mother trying to make it day by day. I have student loans, umong other high costs to maintain. So i fill out this application for a $5000.00 loan in order to get ahaed. I recieved a call from a Jacob Parker (whom i assumed was a bill collector) and i took a message. The next day i was at work and wanted to call him back. I called 800 information to get the 800 number. They have 2 locations, not 1 in Florida (they are not listed). The 2 numbers i recieved had been disconnected. At that point i was leary.

I recieved a call from Mr. Parker today actually and he told me that i was approved with a 6% interest rate but in order to recieve the money i would need to pay 8 months in advance ($983.00). I asked if he would fax me a copy of the contract so i could read it over. When i recieved the fax it looked like something that i would have put together in a microsoft 101 class.
I was amazed that he did not ask me any personal questions regarding finances or employment. I read over the contract and did not feel right. I called the BBB in florida and recieved an extremely bad report. They have only known of this company since 12/17/07. Thats about when i applied.

I called the phone# and tried to reach customer service but only got a voice mail (very wierd), plus you have to identify yourselve before anyone will pick up the phone. Just too good to be true to begin with. It is very sad that people are able to scam people who are really desperate for money in order to survive and keep household affloat. i can honestly see how some people send the money(struggling is no joke). I am even more afraid that thease people have all of my personal information, because even if you don't get scammed by the loan you could get various other scams created when they have your whole identity. especially if they want us to moneygram money to Canada. Very, Very scary. I plan on contacting the local authorities in Fl.
