Complaint Review: Fidelity Financial Services

I read someone else had the same thing happen to them. They recieved a letter with a check for $4,875.00, as a winner of the Lotto North American Sweepstakes.

You are requested to call the number in the letter (Mr Nicholas Harrison) and be told to send the "tax agent" the taxes owed from the winnings to a Western Union or Money gram. Yea right....

The company has two addresses one for Canada and a one for New York. I didnt get ripped off since the whole thing looked suspicious and it was sent to someone with a different first name than me and the same last name.

Oh yea, the bank the check is from, well, it is listed on the check as an address in Rochester NY. There are branches (seems to be reputable bank)but not in Rochester and it handles Mortgage and Property information not lottery sweepstakes in Canada or Victor NY as Mr Harrison would have you believe as you cash it.

Don't Cash This Check!!!!!
