Fidelity National Warranty unreliable and never there for you California, Arizona, Nevada
I had put my condo for rentin October. On Jan. 17, 2006 on the advice of my son-in-law, I decided to get Fidelity National Warranty as insurance. I had used and showered in my condo for 5 years. On Jan. 20, 2006 the mgmnt company called to say that my downstairs neighbor was complaining that water is leaking from my condo into his. I told him I had just gotten a warranty and will have it looked into. He offered to have his plumber temporarily stop the leak, which was from my shower, the hot water faucett was leaking downstairs.
I called Fidelity National with my contract #. Damita said they would send Arsenal plumbing who would call me. When Arsenal did not call I called Fidelity again. They said T.I. plumbing would now call me. No one did. I called them back Eduardo said I should call T.I. and set up a time. I did. Bruce came from T.I. Initially he pronounced everything was fine. When I explained what had happened with the neighbor, he wanted to talk to the neighbor's plumber.
He talked to him twice then pronounced that there was a screw stopping the water leak and it could not be covered under the warranty. Charged me $45.00 and left.
I have called and spoken to Aaron and Jack in authorization Jack told me they might reconsider if the neighbor's plumber would explain why he put a screw to stop the leak. The neighbor's plumber did call them to explain but to no avail. I have left a message for Mr. Rawling asst. mgr. of authorization. No response. So far I have never received a contract from them. I am requesting a refund and have disputed the charge with my credit card company as I am very dissatisfied.

The saga goes on. Paul of P.K. Plumbing supposedly fixed the leak into my neighbor's condo. NOT SO! My neighbor is hopping mad. I had a shower and my neighbor sent a nasty e-mail stating that the leak has not stopped.
I called Paul at P.K. Plumbing now he thinks there are suddenly two leaks. Ugh. I really think he doesn't know and did not fix anything. I asked for his plumber's license # he did not give it.He wants to waste my time again by checking to see if he can fix it. I told him "No thank you I have had enough with the plumber being sent by National Fidelity. I cannot afford to have my neighbor so upset". I am having it fixed by the management company's plumber at my cost. I WILL NOW CONTINUE TO DISPUTE THE CHARGE OF $300.00 on my credit card TO PAY THE PREMIUM FOR A YEARS WARRANTY TO NATIONAL FIDELITY. What a rip off, I am completely and totally dissatisfied with National Fidelity Home Warranty Company and the people they send.

Mr. Gino Rawling the Asst. Mgr called me after receiving my voice mail message. Said he would send another plumber out for a second opinion. Paul from P.K. Plumbing called after a couple of days and showed up. Concluded that he would get authorization.
He got the authorization and came back to change the whole valve. Said the authorization did not permit the valve to be American Standard. Yet in the end he did not change the valve. Says he has fixed the leak into my neighbor's condo by changing some pipes. Hope it works. Said the valves are really old and will need to be changed but walls have to be broken and the insurance wont pay. ( not so as my own plumber can do it without any breakage or damage FOR $545.00)
CONCLUSION I WILL NOT DISPUTE THE CREDIT CARD CHARGE OF $300.00
BUT I WILL NEVER BUY A WARRANTY AGAIN.
