This scam entices you to believe that you will earn $30 and hour by doing data entry or customer service if you choose.

The name of the company they are using is Fidelity Recruitment http://www.fidelityrecruitment.com/uk-ireland I looked up this site and though it may seem legit, the scammers are using it for their own purposes.  Their emails do not even come from this company.  The email address they used on me was: hrdeptfidelityrecruitmentus@gmail.com.  They had to use a Gmail account!

The nature of the scam is that they will interview you over email or text and offer you the job right on the spot.  They will offer to mail you a check to pay for a new computer, accessories, and your first week’s pay for training.  All of this without having even met you!  I am currently waiting for my check, which will be overnighted to me via FedEx.  Based on what I’ve found online so far, the check is fake and if you cash it, you will be responsible to your bank for the funds and face possible fraud charges.

Do not engage with these guys.  They are scammers and will use different names.  My guy was Chris.  For others the name was Jackie.  It matters not.  No one will send a check to an internet stranger.  If it sounds too good to be true – it usually is.

I found these guys on Guru.com.  I reported the ad to Guru and they took it down right away.  Guru.com is legit.

I also found these people on GURU, same thing as the gentleman from Austin described. They have not asked me for money or any account numbers. They now want me to do a small essay problem for them "pre-training." How exactly does this scam work?

This is the number he has been texting me with.  I wanted you to be aware of it and also have it come up if someone he is scamming Googles it.  Good luck.
