I recieved a letter and a check for $4,925.20 in the mail. It had said I won a Engergy Savings Grant. All I had to do was call them, activate the check, deposit it, and send $3,100 for taxes and fees to my agent Jenna Roch @ 68 Henry St. Brooklyn, NY 11361. Then I was to contact them when I had done so. 3-5 business days later I was to recieve the rest of the money in a check of $34,900.00.

Now this all sounds great and stuff... and I actually fell for it. Fortunitly I did some research and caught it in time before the money was deposited in my accound, because there was a 5 business day hold on it. My bank account is now frozen until I pay a $25 fee for them fixing my mistake.

I URGE you to shred the letter and check up. Don't fall for the lie. It's not going to be worth it in the end. From what I have read.. What they do is they use your information to file a police report against you or the check will bounce. Either way you will be responsible for the money in the end. So Shred it! Get rid of it! DO NOT FALL FOR THE SCAM!
