FIDELITY WARRANTY SERVICES ripoff, dishonest, deseptive, irresponsible DEERFIELD BEACH Florida
i purchased a vehicle in january 2003.the vehicle was still under its factory warranty for another 9895 miles and one more year. i decided since it was a four wheel drive vehicle that it would be smart to purchase an "extended warranty". i was not informed that my so called extended warranty did not start when my remaining factory warranty ran out, quite the opposite.
since my vehicle had more than 5999 miles on when i purchased it, the "extended" warranty started in january of 2001, which was the year model of my truck. i did not even own that truck in 2001, so why should my warranty start then.
now i am stuck with $905 worth of work on a truck that i thought was covered since i did buy the gold package @ $1295. that was to cover the truck for 60 months or 75,000 miles, neither of which has occured. the truck still only has 52,000 miles on it.

Your inccorrect to blame Fidelity Warranty for being dishonest, deseptive, and irresponsible.
To start off you did not buy the warranty from Fidelity Warranty, you bought the warranty though a dealer ship that sells Fidelity Warranty. So if you wern't informed that your so called extended warranty did not start when your remaining factory warranty ran out, then you need to take that up with the person that works for the dealership at sold you the warranty, NOT Fidelity Warranty.
Second, I will admitt I'm guilty of this to, when you signed a contract or anything legal it usally states in one way or anoughter "you have read and understand all terms and conditions of this contract prior to signing". Which in short term means if you did not read it before you sign it then it your fault. And like i siad i'm guilty of it to.
