During our vacation to Cancun, Mexico, we were pressured and tricked into signing a contract for a 40 year membership with the Fiesta Americana Vacation Club in 2013.   We felt uneasy about the whole process and signed after being pressured for 7 hours by high-pressure tactics.  They promised a lot of things but they were empty promises and there were many lies.   We tried canceling the contract within the 5 day grace period that companies are forced to give customers, but they claimed we rescinded our right to cancel and they made it impossible to cancel.  They even threatened us to take us to court and that our credit score in the US would be affected as they have a billing company in the USA.  We felt so stupid for signing and always regretted that day.  We were not happy with the membership either.

I tried canceling the membership and they claimed there would be a penalty that would be more expensive than the whole membership was worth.  This statement was actually true according to their contract.  I researched online and found that we were not the only ones tricked and unhappy with these time share/vacation club memberships.  It seemed hopeless and we were very frustrated.  I was afraid that if I stopped paying, they would take legal action and have a collecting agency come after us and thereby affect our credit score in the USA.  Remember, this is a LEGAL contract and it can be enforced in the USA.

I came across Mexican Timeshare Solutions on the web and read the testimonials.  I will be honest in that I was very skeptical of this company and in the process.  I researched this company numerous times and even confirmed that they had good ratings with the Better Business Bureau.  I took a chance and contracted them with the guarantee of no payment until my membership was canceled.  Three months later, my membership was cancelled legally and I am now free of this timeshare scam.  I was so frustrated that I would be stuck with this membership for 40 years but thanks to Mexican Timeshare Solutions, they came to the rescue.

If you are stuck with a timeshare/vacation club membership scam, don't hesitate and hire this company to get you out of this before you lose any more money or sleep over it.  This company was very professional from the beginning, courteous, spoke English and delivered with real results.  I highly recommend this company if you are in the same predicament that we were in.

In my opinion this is a nice resort, unfortunately they are liars and thieves. You have to stay away from them and their timeshare presentations, don't make the mistake to go just waiting for free stuff!! Be careful! I was scammed too, 2 years ago, and it's been a nightmare for me. I was reading some articles about this fraudulent resort and they really helped me to understand a few more things. Take a look at this, maybe you find something of help:

Timeshare Scam

The best advice is NEVER buying a timeshare anywhere. It is a scam and the so-called timeshare you buy is sold over and over again to other people. It is very difficult to sell your timeshare now and renting isn't in the deal. It will cost you more to buy a timeshare and maintenance fee than to rent a hotel room or a full ownership of a condo. Don't do it. There is good information about timeshare scams: http://www.timesharescam.com/timeshare-complaints-resorts-black-list/4-pueblo-bonito-timeshare-complaints/
