What a RIP OFF!!!  Once they "get" you and once the sale is made, you are on your own to get anything and be prepared to fight for even the basic items to include what even came on the invoice.  Originally went to look at a used 5th wheel toy hauler that was advertized and when we went to Fife RV in Gig Harbor we looked at the unit and it was TRASHED.  The dealer made NO attempt to clean unit or repair the obvious defects.  Told the sales person that I would never have advertized such an bad looking unit until it was fixed.  So we looked at other units at Gig Harbor but then wanted to go to the main store in Fife to look at a unit that was there.  Then the good news/bad news;  The unit at the Fife store was "just sold", but another unit at Gig Harbor was just cleaned to look at when a few moments earlier it was not in condition.  Looked at the 5th wheel and it was what we had been looking for in a 2013 model and the price was right.  Then, like so many others have said the dollars started getting added on.  Only offered us a fraction for the trade-in of our currect travel trailer toy hauler of what the books said it was worth selling outright and trade in.  They then sold our trade-in unit for approx $7000 more than what we paid for it brand new just a few years earlier.  We wanted the 5th wheel so we continued on.

Then got hit with an OUTRAGEOUS prep fee of over $2000, where most other dealers do the inspection fee for free or about $500 at the most.  Since we needed a the 5th wheel hitch we were told that it would run $2300.  And of course the Northwest package for more $$$ and it looks like it was never done.  And then the RIDICULOUS $10,000 for a 7 year warrenty.  After compalaining they offered to lower it to just under $5000 and made it seem that they were really doing us a favor.  Found MUCH cheaper warranties elsewhere for the same amount of coverage.  We actually took a different hitch in our truck that we were told was a $1000 dollars less and still NOTHING on that credit.  Our unit was advertized with a portable generator which we did not know about until after the paperwork was signed, so we had them install a new on board generator for over $5000.  If we had known about the other generator, we probably would not have had the on board installed.  We did not take possession of the unit unit almost 1 month later due to parts on order and installation.  Gig Harbor stated that they took all valuables out of the units due to theft, which we understood, BUT they could not seem to find what was taken out or switched.  The supply room looked like someone did not know ANYTHING about supply or the keeping of items.

After the paperwork was signed, we looked at the pictures of our unit on line and several things came up missing or were not replaced.  Gages, control panels, charging stations and such were NOT put back the same as what the pictures originally showed.  Some of the items that were on the invoice just "disappeared".  Still waiting on some of them as we were told they were now being re-ordered and should come soon.  What happen to them???  Were told by one person that sometimes they take items off and sell them outright.  THAT IS WRONG!!!  Wonder if Forest River knows that???  We ONLY want what came with our unit!!!  Our salesperson was friendly, listened to us on what we were looking for, made the effort to know the products, but kept having to going back and forth with the supervisor for every thing and decision, who we now know that the supervisor WAS ripping us off.  The person who walked us through the unit on pick up day was great and answered all of our questions except on water tank size and a few other things that he did not know, but told us up front.  The service manager did not know either and even did not know what comes in some of the units.  I would think that if you are selling a product, that you AT LEAST KNOW your product.  Still fighting to get paperwork showing the credits and reduced warranty which at this time we actually want to cancel because of the BS and TOTAL lack of caring about the customer and not the money.  Was told that we would have the forms sent to us and NOTHING!

Based on what has happened so far, I would be willing to bet that when the gentleman got off the phone he just "forgot" me and "forgot" to do what we asked.  They have NO concept of customer service and it's OBVIOUS that they ONLY care about getting money from us.  My husband wanted to just walk away from the whole deal, but I wanted the RV and I should have listened to him.  We should have walked away!!!  DON'T trust ANYTHING they say over the phone.  They are "getting over" by selling quality and well made RV's and that's why people like us go to them.  Forest River and others should be ashamed to have them represent them.
