THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU, You saved me $1500 plus round trip airfare. Something seemed wrong when Mr Townsend call me and would not give me any current clients that would "vouch" for doing business with Accessory Plus Inc (thats the new name of the company). He said they did not want to have Reps calling customers. When I told him I could not come up with the $3000 cashiers check he wanted me to pay for "Samples", he told me that they just came up with a new program for only $1500.

When I asked him for a price list he told me that I would have to come in with the money before they would give me any of that information. I asked about Accessory plus inc and he told me that it was a 16 year old company but I was not able to find out any information about it anywhere. After a little research on the owner Raymond Rike it just happens to be the same owners and the same address as final touch jewelry. Final Touch seems to have quite the reputation for taking money from new reps for samples. Just remember if it sounds a little fishy you can find out about the real deal on ripoff report!

A suggestion for those ripped off by Gary Rike/Final Touch Jewelry

I too was ripped off in December of 2007 by Gary Rike. Not only were my samples way over priced and I was charged unrealistic prices for felt boards to display jewelry and catalogs, my main problem was the fact I could not sell anything because the prices were too high. I also had orders that could not be filled so after a few months I had to just cancel them. Why would anyone try to sell a product that could not be delivered? I also had some broken pieces that were finally replaced in a few months but only after I stayed after them & posted complaints on this site as well as others. My recruiter was Tommy Martin in Tennessee/Kentucky.

I did find the company online that supplied Gary with the small silver catalog. It's Moda Designs and they are also inside the World Trade Center in Dallas. I was able to get a catalog from them directly and got on their list to rep for them with a much higher commission (I have since decided not to). They use the "Triple Keystone" method for pricing. Their pieces are absolutely beautiful with turquoise and other stones. You can bypass Gary and Final Touch/Special Designs/Accessory Plus and whatever other names they might be using now. Their site is modadesigns.com. Their next catalog comes out in the summer.

Select Jewelry Designs

Check out selectjewelrydesigns...it's virtually the same as accessoryplusinc. For a while, it was specialdesignsinc. Could it be that Final Touch Jewelry, Inc. has changed their name again?

You were lucky. I urge you to report your experience with the Texas Attorney General. This is done easily online.
