I also was contacted by Gary Rike of Final Touch Jewelry,Inc. for employment. After talking with him several times and looking at thier website everything seemed "OK". I too made the trip to dallas and met at thier showroom for "training", which I now realize was fed a bunch of baloney! His e-mail to me indicated that my territory already had over 100 existing accounts, stating that income of over 100,000 a year was very feasiable. When I got the account list they gave me there was maybe thirty! Most of which I found out no longer exist. I was also told there hadn't been a rep in my area for about six months. This was a lie because by chance I happened to get his number and called to speak with him, and found out we both had the same story. He thought he was working for them but was having same problem I was.

Their jewelry is way over priced people were laughing at me. After about a month of pounding the pavement with no response from anyone I tried to reach Gary for some feedback or help from the company. Since he had managed a territory for 25 years, shouldn't he be of some assistance to new reps ( being a Sales Manager).

Although when I kept asking his title he kept telling me he was company gofer? After many unreturned calls I started to worry. I already put alot of money to do this business and the person who hired me wouldn't call me back. Also sent e-mails with no response. I did finally get a return call, but his whole demeaner had changed. He was very rude and short with me, offered no assistance and shot down any idea I had of getting into accounts. Especially if it meant putting out money or doing anything on their part. This guy is scamming people who are seeking REAL employment. From what I've seen most people are scraping together the $3000! in CASHIERS CHECK ONLY for overpriced samples! I don't know if this is something he figured out a way of making extra money on the side but HE NEEDS TO BE STOPPED!!!

I am definately going to persue this. Who knows how many innocent job seekers he has done this to . I suggest anyone who knows about this file a complaint with Texas Consumer Protection ASAP. They are not in the jewelry business they are commiting FRAUD!! Please go online to Texas Attorney General for filing fraud complaints.
