Writing to report that Financial Crossroads Property Management of Rockwall,Tx is a highly unprofessional company,& the actual property manager is extremely difficult to deal with. We leased a home in Fate,Tx,& upon signing the lease,there were several issues remaining with the home,& this property management company was in the midst of doing so called repairs,cleaning,touch up,painting,etc. Well,even after our move in,& paying thousands of dollars for the lease,& deposit,the home still has numerous issues,& this property management company is refusing to complete most,stating the issues are "cosmetic",& will not be done. Hmm!

These "cosmetic" issues are items such as the following: blotchy,& spotty touch up painting of walls,& ceilings. Cracks in walls,& ceilings. Holes in walls,previously spackled areas which were not sanded,& re-painted,rotting baseboard caulking,spilled paint on white baseboards,paint which is overlapping on walls with two different colors due to laziness,& improper use of painters tape,large cracks,& separations in the exterior/interior of garage doors,& center pillar,which not only allows outside weather in,but also bugs,& spiders. Also,the home has a outdoor hot tub,which can not be used due to it having yet to be properly serviced,& cleaned...even after waiting 2 months for such to be done. We (tenants) have also been waiting for over a month for a broken window in the master bdrm to be replaced,& are constantly told that the contractors just fail to show up to perform the work. Really! What a farce!

This property management company...Carla Decker typically takes over a week,& at times a few weeks to even respond to our repair requests,which we email to her. I'm assuming the actual home owner has no idea as to how badly this company is handling things,& treating her tenants,as Carla Decker is most likely not being totally honest with her regarding the condition of the home. It's truly a shame that such a company acts in such an unprofessional manner,& treats tenants who pay on time,& also take very good care of the home in such an awful manner. Sadly,there are a handful of negative posts/reviews about this company,as well as Carla Decker. Please use caution when dealing with this company! We (tenants) are just keeping to our obligation,& going to continue to do the right thing,& will pursue this further if this company continues to refuse to handle,& do things the right way.
