Complaint Review: Financial Independent Resource Education (F.I.R.E) Christine Szall Kathy

One Day I was in my Home Relaxing with my Family When I recieved a Phone it was from a person Names Christine Szall She seemed friendly enough to catch my attention she told me she was from a non-profit orginazation named
F.I.R.E " Financial Independent Resource Education" she said the reason their called resource Education is bacause"They Are NOT a Debt Settlement Company" they just hepl people like myself budget our money so we can pay off or debts free and clear I thought to myself Whow I can do something right and pay off my past debt and pay no one I figured ok How does it work
she then told me that after signing up they will send me a package with letters telling my Creditors about this program I am going through and they can not only help my budget but they can also see if they can talk to the creditors about reducing the Aprs. I said Ok. It would cost me 3 month down payment of $256 and each additional month would be $100.77 for the next 18 months and It would not go on my Credit. One year later I was going over my credit and realized Everytime F.I.R.E called me it was to try to pay off a charge that I had all ready paid off I relizied I had talked to everyone myself, paied everyone myself, got out of debt myself mean while I'm paying a company and they did nothing for me so I called a Rep. to see about Canceling my account The womens name was kathy I told her the same thing why I want to cancel she said no-probablem all I have to do is write a note stating I want to cancel my account and send it by way of certified mail 5 days before my next schedule date with my signature on it and thats it my account will be canceled I asked her thats it I don't have to pay for nothing else she said no thats it they will stop all payments I figured great all my payjments are done and my credit is in good condition. then I recieved a call
From a women telling me that I Owe $1,246 Even though I canceled the women said they were a debt settlement Company (sofar first Mis Rep.)
Then she told me that I owe the money (thats Two Mis Reps.) then she told me that In the Contract That I signed Stated It's From Jan 2008 to Dec. 2010 Thats not 18 months thats 24 months ( thats 3rd Mis Rep.) So I procided to Establish a motive by explaining to her that a verbal agreement is just as good as a written agreement the women then told me their arbortrator has Legal right to Over ride some laws in different states the women then told my that she has the recording I told her I want a copy Of the recording she then told me she has to talk to the women kathy to see if she could obtain the tape. I told her that they breached their contract the moment they Misrepresented themselfs and the women told my they will be reporting it to my credit burea I then told her they told me they don't do that she said it's our contract we can change it at anytime ( thats 4th Mis Rep.)
and I don't know what to do their susposed to help yet their screwing me up.
