I worked for one week as a Financial Health Educator for Financial Educational Services website financialknowledgenetwork.org. Here is what I found out . They have a F Rating with the BBB. They take advantage of the elderly. They promise to lower your rates on your credit cards and have a money back guarantee of a certain amount of interest savings. All of these things you can do yourself instead of the $995 and up that they bill you right away. 8 out of 10 cards will not lower your interest rate. You can find out yourself by calling your card comapnay and asking for a supervisor and telling them that you have a balance transfer offer. I would like to stay with your bank can you help me by lowering your rate. You can also apply for a card with a 0% promotional balance transfer rate. If they cant lower your rate they give you a plan with more than the minimum payment being paid to the highest balance and rate that you have. You can do that your self. If you try to ask for your money back they will tell you to wait for the Smart Savings Plan to see if they can save you that dollar amount of interest savings by paying more on card than your minium payment.

Everyone Can Do it Themselves

When it comes to dealing with financial matters, everyone has the ability to do it themselves.  If everyone knew how to resolve their financial issues themselves companies like ours would not be needed.  But not everyone wants to deal with creditor issues.  That is why they hire our company to help them.  A disgruntled employee who worked for us for 1 WEEK is not qualified to pass judgement fairly and accurately on who we are and who we help.  We service 1000 clients a month, the vast majority of whom benefit from our service.  It is always unfortunate when a small minority can come on a site like this and try to speak for the majority.   I am compelled to respond to these reports because the do not accurately describe the activities of our company.  We have successfully negotiated over 1 Billion dollars of interest savings for over 50,000 clients in the past 5 years.  This is the kind of information that needs to be shared.  As a conumer advocacy organization, we strive to assist consumers in living better lives through reducing their dependency on debt and increaing their wealth throug proper debt management.  I do not believe we take advantage of anybody.  We do not knowingly enroll anyone in our program that we do not believe we can help.
