Financial Resolutions Financial Scams that claim to lower your credit card interest rates Financial Reslutions Ocoee, Florida
I was contacted by Financial Resolutions Center on 9/25/08. They told my husband and I that they could save us a minimum of $2500.00 by lowering our interest rates on our credit cards. We had to prove that we were at least $3000.00 in dept."Congradulations you qualify" I was very trusting and after being told that I could cancel at any time.
I gave them my Washington Mutual credit card number. I did agree to the charge of $1500.00 My card was charged was charged 9/25/08 and it posted 9/29/08. I received a package by priorty mail within 5 days. I completed the paper work with all of our personal information on it which included social security numbers, passwords (mothers maiden names), all credit card numbers.
A friend said she heard on the radio about a few companies that were scams. I looked it up on the computer and found out that the company Financial Resulations Center was among them. When I found this out I immediatly canceted all of our credit cards, contacted Equafax, Experian, Trans Union as well as filed a police report with The Franklin Township Police (local police department)
10/30/08 I called Financial Resulutions and told them of the above. They said that it was way to late to file a claim my account was already charged. "You should have given them some time to help us."
The credit card company Washington Mutual advised us to fill out a dispute form and they would address it from there after a complete investigation has been researched.
