Financial Services Group, LLC Property Tax Refund "Bait and Switch" Dallas Texas
Financial Services Group sends out post card indicating that a large amount ($1100 in my case) has been located in your name, that they will get your money back to you with "no out of pocket expense" but you must come into their office to start the process. They will give no information whatsoever over the phone as to where the money is coming from or why.
Only after you have surrendered a form of ID and the original post card will they tell you that it's a county property tax adjustment, and they will get you the money provided you sign a limited power of attorney for them to file with the county on you behalf.
After you've signed the power of attorney based on the "no cost" postcard", and have no copies of any paperwork, they put their "final terms of contract" sheet before you forcing you to sign 100% of any found money over to them. Your can either walk out the door with nothing and hope they tear up the already signed paperwork or sign it all over to them.

Beware, I am almost positive people are getting ripped off from these folks in a sense that they are taking a good lump sum of money that is rightfully the consumers
They claim that you are overtaxed and they really do leave you with nothing more than a contract that states how much of YOUR money that they are entitled to for their "services"
I think people like to see that they will be given free money but the fact is, you are probably entitled to a lot more which they are putting their hands into..
They are cashing in on the fact that you would agree to take this good lump sum amount of money for free...
What urks me is the fact that they can get away with all this with a minimal form f documentation and/or copies to leave you of the process...
They did leave the contract stating what they find in "rebates, reimbursements, etc", they are entitled to 50% of it....
Call your tax office and contest the taxes you are being charged for your home...there is a process, but you the consumer can do this and need no middle man to cash in for you....
