SEO companies are mostly ripoffs, but FindYourSearch.com takes the cake.  Listen to this voice mail after I told them I wasn't interested http://bit.ly/SEOripoff.  Listen close as he says "I've got...." and then immediately switches to "there's people in the office next to me that are clicking on your ad".  So he's saying "I've got people in the office next to me clicking on your ad".  So their scheme is to "prove" that your Google Ads don't work or as he says in the voice mail "you're just running through money", and then try to sell you on SEO (search engine optimization) services.  Dan or Daniel Carlson called me 5 times, I have 2 voice mails, 2 hang ups, and the one time he got me live I told him I was NOT interested.  In that call he said he could get my on the first page of Google.  That is complete BS.  The only way an SEO company can do that is either via tens of thousands of dollars - or by getting you on a key word that no one ever uses.  I use meta tags, keyword density, etc, etc on my site, plus I blog and all the other SEO tricks and tips.  These guys can't do anything I'm not.  So they are a scam company - but running up Google Adword advertisers bills with uninterested clicks - or as Dan Carlson of FindYourSearch says on his voice mail "that can care less on buying any products that you have to sell..." is a RIPOFF.

In fact I had 108 clicks in 3 days and only 1 sign up on my site which is about 1/10th my normal performance so I estimated they clicked on my ad 90 times or so.

#3Consumer Comment

Fri, January 29, 2010

"We are always taking steps to prevent this sort of behavior from our salespeople and improve the way we do business."

According to historical data along with past and present Ripoff Reports, BBB Reports, 800 Complaint Site Reports, the above statement is incorrect. This type of practice is ingrained in your business model. Based on comments read publicly, it may even be part of the initial telemarketing training.

"If anyone reading this has any other questions or concerns, feel free to email us at questions (at) findyoursearch.com and we will do our best to remedy the situation."

I think it would be best if consumers aired their grievances in an open forum such as the Ripoff Report and other highly visible websites and not via email, that is the only way things will get done.

"That being said, there have been several different postings made by the ignorant or ill-informed, and we ignore those."

No, I don't believe you ignore those, you're just hoping they will go away and you can continue to do business as usual. I don't think that is going to happen, not with the number of reports being filed against your various companies.

"But any accusations implying that we are doing anything other than providing a valuable service to our clients will be promptly reviewed by council."

Please don't threaten the consumer with idle threats. I'd be surprised if you can find council to represent you based on how you've been operating your businesses. I'd say there were upwards of 100+ consumer complaints on the Internet about your companies. For those reading this, just search the Ripoff Report for these company names...

1. USA SEO Pros (USASEOPros.com)
2. Business Development Institute (BDI)
3. Cloud Nine Professional Business Services (Out of Business)
4. Dynamic Web Products
5. FindYourSearch.com (or FindOurSearch.com)
6. KJR Management

Those are the 6 company names you'll find on the Ripoff Report. This company has been up to their shenanigans since 2003 and it's about time it came to an end.

There was another company out of Las Vegas who operated in a very similar manner, the name of that company was Traffic-Power, they were forced to shut down. It is very coincidental that both of these companies share the same business model, operate out of the same city, and are basically in the same situation - history repeats itself.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

We definitely do not approve of the behavior of this salesperson, and we do not condone the actions he implied. That salesperson has been removed and will no longer be working for us. We do not tolerate that kind of behavior, and will always take immediate action if it ever happens again.

We are always taking steps to prevent this sort of behavior from our salespeople and improve the way we do business.
