Fine focus photography / Stephanie Faulkner Wedding day rip off Brunswick, Ohio
I used Stephanie Faulkner of fine focus photography for my wedding. I got married 6 weeks ago and paid her up front $900 for 6 hours of her time.
She showed up an hour late and left about 15-30 minutes early. She promised to make it up to me when we met to go over my pictures.
This is something that never happened. We've had several "meetings" that were suppose to take place that never did and now she is not returning phone calls, texts or emails. I've seen 43 pictures that she posted to Facebook.
I want to make sure no one uses her ever.
She took a special day in my life and dumped all over it and now I am out $900 and have 43 pictures to show for it. My wedding was 6 weeks ago and I hope whoever sees this will pass around the message so she is never used again.
I also had an engagement session done with her. We did this in April. She claims to have taken 70+ pictures. To date I have only seen 11 that she posted in Facebook of course.
Please no one use her! I don't want what happened to me to happen to any more people.

I just wanted to update everyone on this, as NOTHING has been resolved. Stephanie has still never contacted me however mutliple "clients" of hers have contacted me to tell me their horror stories. One just as recently as last week. Her facebook page says her website is http://www.faulknerfocus.com however it appears when you click on the link that the website doesn't work. I was lucky to finally get my wedding photos Stephanie did looked at by another photographer. One who actually is legit and runs an actual business. She took my photos, that she referred to as amateur and disgraceful and tried turning them into something wonderful and put them into a wedding book for me since Stephanie of course never could and never would. She gave me a little bit of faith back in humanity as she did this wonderful book for me for free. I will continue to update this in hopes no one gets scammed by Stephanie Faulker and whatever she names her business now. Please don't get scammed on your wedding day like I did and so many others.

I wanted to give an update. I finally received my pictures from the "photographer" She claimed she took over 800, my cd had 364. She claimed I would have my wedding photos along with my engagement photos. Of the 364 photos that were on my cd, 363 of them were from my wedding, no engagement photo and photo 364 was of a little league cheerleading team. I assure you, there were no cheerleaders at my wedding.
I have been asking Stephanie to get me the rest of the photos, my engagement session that she claims she took 70 pictures. She has ignored me, had an excuse and an answer for everything I throw her way. I've given her my address to even mail them. They must have gotten "lost" I've been trying for about a month now on that.
I let her know I would file a judgement to which she replied she has no assets or income so it's better to work with her directly. She's trying to save me money she claims. How thoughtful!
I also heard she may have a new business under a new name. Most likely to stay under the radar so she can get someone else for their money.
I will keep updating this so I can hopefully steer people away from Stephanie Faulkner and her "photography" I don't want to see or hear of anyone else going through what I have had to go through. She was supposed to capture wonderful memories and she missed them all and have done nothing but cause me grief and aggravation.
