We paid $5,000 in deposits to finefoodandwinecruise.com for an Italian wine cruise scheduled for June 2013. In December 2012 we were told by Merry Edwards Winery (the winery that was to supply wines for the cruise) and finefoodandwinecruise.com that the cruise was cancelled. We were told by finefoodandwinecruise.com that they would contact us after January 1 to "discuss options" for our deposits. Numerous phone calls and emails have gone unanswered.
The people who had signed up for this cruise have joined forces and have paid a total of $700,000 in deposits. We want to use any and all resources available to have our deposits refunded.
Two other wineries (Longshadows and Tobin) have cancelled their 2013 wine cruises, but finefoodandwine cruises is still advertising those cruise on their website. This seems like a recurring scam perpetrated by finefoodandwinecruises.com.
