Complaint Review: Fingerhut - AXSYS National Bank

I recently ordered copies of my credit report and realized that for some reason FINGERHUT/AXSYS NATIONAL BANK is on my report stating that I have a deliquent account with them; and the account has been open for two and a half years.

The account puzzles me because at the time the account was claimed to be opened I was 19 year-old college student living on campus and only had one credit card. However, now I've purchased credit reports from 3 different companies and each of show that I have an "account" from FINGERHUT, yet I have never recieved a bill from either FINGERHUT OR AXSYS NATIONAL BANK.

I would love to receive some type of documentation which shows that I signed an application or a statement showing the items that were purchased from the company. In order to justify the account being placed on my credit report for $171.00, which may now be the reason why I may not be able to rent an apartment or receive credit from other companies due to the "deliquent" charges on my report.
