Fingerhut Axsys National Bank ripoff kept sending me the bill when I want to close the account ripoff waste of time Saint Cloud Minnesota

I have compliant against the fingerhut and/or Axsys National Bank because they kept sending me this bill. I have paid off $499.00, and when I tried to call them to cancel or close my account. I was having a hard time getting through them. I tried calling them day and night. I logged onto their website.

I found that fingerhut was out of business until some other company bought it. I did tried to reach the credit department. During those time, they have answering machine and so on. They put a new balance of $101.45 to keep it going. I don't want them anymore. I paid off everything. I just recenely called them on November 19, 2002 and told them that I would like to close the account. They said they can't because I must pay the $101.45.

I can not afford it because I am disabled with low income. I went on this company because I thought they help disabled people with low income. I tried to close my account, but they wouldn't, and it kepts bothering me. I don't want the billing to go high, and I am not buying anything anymore. I finished with it, and I paid off the rest and they kept bothering me with this. I can't take this anymore. That is all I want is to close my account.

Can't they leave me alone. I think it is a rip off when they see a person paid off and then they added a new credit to it, a balance to it, and it is like I can't get it off from me. I really need it to stop. I don't want to do business with them anymore. Closing the account is the bottom line. Thanks.
