I opened an account with Fingerhut I believe in 1996 believing this would be the same honorable business my Mom dealth with. I always paid my bill on time, but wondered why only about half the payment would actually go to the bill and the rest to bogus charges. I was never late so I knew there was something wrong. In August of 2010 I decided after useless conversations with customer service to terminate my account and began making ( the last four) payments of $100 to get rid of Fingerhut. Again about half of each payment would go to the bill and the rest to bogus charges. I still have all my receipts  because I do not trust this company. This past year was the first time I checked my credit report which showed I paid off Fingerhut yet there were two reports of bad credit to Fingerhut to MCM. I had ONE account with Fingerhut only and I would never open another after that experience nor would I recommend them to anyone. I know I overpaid them because of the bogus charges and if there is a class action suit against them I want to be part of it. MCM, I have talked to because they are trying to collect $935.00 on a fake bill. They are also trying to collect on a $1,800.00 T-mobile bill, I have never owned a T-mobile phone in my life. I have contacted T-mobile and MCM about this too. Something needs to be done about these junk debt leeches. Please help
