I have used the following 2-page letter several times to beat-down
the companies & collectors ... the response has been: letters
telling me they are stopping collections, checks for "attorney fees"
I demanded from them, corrections to my Experian Credit report.
This letter has yet to fail me ...... just insert their name/address and
your account number from their letter (leave the case #, etc the same,
as they have NO WAY to verify this ....)
ONLY CHANGE THE BLUE AREAS IN (--)

collection efforts. As I am considering legal action against you, I am again
requesting the name and address of your liability insurance carrier.
