FingerHut Ripoff I wasnt even old enough St. Cloud Minnesota
I just wanted to tell u my problem. I got my credit report about 2 months ago and there are two entries one that says fingerhut in 1999 for 1874 dollars at that time i would have only been 14 years old so im clueless to how that was even on there and besides i never bought anything from them, and then theres a second report from for the same amount for 2005 i still have never bought anything from finger hut so i was about to try to contact them and get it removed then i came across this web site and i guess there wont be any use.

This is your credit you are talking about. Its important. It will affect whether you can rent an apartment, buy a house, a car or even obtain specific jobs. Fight it! A company (not Fingerhut) once put on my credit report that I owed $1200.00. I had never done business with this company and if I had, I would have been about 11 years old at the time. I called the company and got the ball rolling wtih a dispute. I had to talk to a lot of people and spend a lot of hours on the phone, but I finally got it off my credit report. In the process of doing so, I had to fill out a lot of paperwork, sign an affadavit the debt wasn't mine and I also had to prove my age. But the neagtive reporting was eventually removed.
