Complaint Review: FIRE INC

I was just contacted by one of the "HR Manager" (read receptionist) from this company ... She wrote in her mail that the position was for entry level account managers who will be responsible for maintaining accounts of existing AT&T clients plus some acquisitions. The second para of the mail read the same position as "Customer service, sales executive" professionals ... I was confused and gave her a call to learn more about the profile and nature of job. Well obviously she didnt say anything clearly ... I had a hard time finding out whether or not this is an entry level sales position ... she was very tactful in saying that you will be hired as assistant manager and given ample training on how to handle customers and how to run your "own business" .... I asked her is this a salaried or a commissioned position, for which her answer was "it could be both" !! How funny is that !! Lastly she was desperate to somehow fix an interview with the manager and she kept on saying "the manager would discuss further stuffs with you" .... I would say this kind of interview offer is pretty shady and definitely should be avoided ... Also for people who wants to go for sales position, I would say pick a company which is clear and fair with its policies and doesnt deceive the applicant by luring him / her into the job by stating that it would be a managerial position for handling AT&T client accounts ... How disgusting is that !! And lastly I have never heard of something like "An entry level" "managerial" position, unless you are a fresh graduate from a business school ... I didnt even go for the interview ... such a waste of time !!
