Complaint Review: Fire Safety Magnets

Like the other complaints previously submitted, a really nice woman called stating they were working with the University City, MO fire dept. producing these fire saftey, 8.5 x 11 magnets (see www.firesafetymagnets.com).  Ads were $500 for 2x2, $750 for 2x4 and $1250 for 2x8.  It's not completely out of the scope of possibility that a little ole company someplace would have contracted with a local municipality to do something like this....but it's worth looking into the scam aspect and I'm glad I did.  I told her I would need 20-30 min to think about it and I would call her back with my answer (which I intended to do).  However, she called me back first.  She was quick to get off the phone with me once I politely explained that it just wasn't right for me at this time.  Good riddens!
