I bought a Sony flat screen tv with BlueRay and a new amp. Total cost with install: $6,000. A really nice setup untill it came time for install.

The first two surveys were setup with Firedog and nobody showed up. Finally on the third survey appointment, the Firedog installer actually showed up to my house.(this is where they check out your home and make sure thre install is feasable as well as make an exact list of parts needed for the install). He made a list of all the parts needed.

They guaranteed they would have it up in time for the SuperBowl. They showed up Sat eve the night beforer the SuperBowl at5pm for install and it took 6 hours. In that time I was forced to drive to the store twice to buy more cables because they hadn't gotten the correct cables for my install.

The next day my tv kept going blank evey 20 minutes during the SuperBowl. On monday when I called them and complained they simply said "Sorry." They offered to send a tech out and would concede none of the $750 install cost.

Worse yet, A month later, my tv still doesn't work right. They still just say "sorry" and keep sending the tech out. The tech can't get it to work. I feel I should be at least partially refunded for the install price.

I have talked to Fire Dog and Circuit City managers and they offered a $50 gift cirtificate for their store. What a joke. This is by far the worst costumer service experience I have ever witnessed. NEVER EVER, do business with FireDog or Circuit City. They are awfull.

What does the TV shutting down or going blank have to do with installation? Unless it is proven that something went wrong or is incorrect in the installation, which is obviously not the case since the tech has been out to look at it.

Your gripe is with the manufacturer of the TV
