It all began looking for tires for my Audi A4, I thought I was a smart consumer by doing  my homework to look for the best deal on the internet. Boy was I wrong, my first choice was Discount Tire and when speaking with the tire sales man inquiring about new tires. The man quoted me a price ten dollars more than what the Discount Tire website was advertising.

When questioning the discrepancy he only response was OK I'll sell them for $160 per tire. Well I asked why is Firestone advertising same size tire for almost $100 less, his only response was OK? and said did you want to buy the tires? I ran from that store! So I called the nearest Firestone and spoke with a Murry Tyler he was pleasant and verified he had the tires in stock and could fix me up quick. The experience took all of the afternoon and most of the evening to replace four tires! I asked Murry to have the tire tech to place the best tire as a spare until I could afford to purchase another tire, but when I
got my car back my trunk was a shambles! the plastic tool kit was left open and lug nut caps were spread all over my trunk.

The kid who worked on my vehicle when said "thats the way I found it" I responded so that's the type of quality work you do? I called the manager in and questioned him about the quality work and he shrugged and said do you want me to help you put it all back together? I was so livid that I just closed the trunk and left. I drove straight to my home and proceeded to check the work. Well what I found was appalling! the Lug nuts were tighten so much that a breaker bar with an extension had to been used to loosen the lug nuts! Four lug nut plastic caps where were missing and the center Audi emblem cap was missing swell! Also the wheels were marred from the dismounting machine! I called back the Firestone manager to tell him about the damage and missing tire parts, and his only response was "what is your VIN # so I can order those caps for you?"

I told him to forget it that I would absorb the damage and that I felt that this was the worst service I have ever received. Where I thought I was saving money by going to an unfamiliar store cost me the amount I saved and then some.  I'll never take my car to another Fire Stone store again! What a nightmare!
