Kevin Adams calls repeatedly, though I have as much told him I wasn't buying.  While I have not lost anything (other than my 2004 investment in Velas Vallarta for which First Allied Properties supposedly is in a position of paying several times its original price), I have contemplated contacting the FBI or perhaps the Postmaster general as there has to be mail fraud if not racketeering going on, at least based on my expperience and the lengthy report on this site that motivated to write.

After a series of calls, Kevin Adams said their lawyer would call me.  One "Alan Perry" played that part, indicating that he was licensed in Californai (and, at least I assume, New York).  There is no active attorey in either state named Perry. When I told this joke that, he said, "oh, I sometimes go by the name "Dunbar."  A visit to CalBar.org brings up an "Alan Dunbar," but when you click on that result, you get a page on "Alan Saunders."  With some effort, I got someone at the Bar on the phone, and was told that Alan Dunbar had changed his name to Saunder in 1995.  So, in effect, this "Alan Perry," when pressed, was using a 22-year out of date name for a member of the California State Bar.

After I laid that on him, Mr. Perry/Dunbar said (1) his secretary had sent an email with his credential;s (never happened). and (2) it really wasn't important because of the real estate credentials of his colleagues.  How someone posing as a lawyer could say that after I told him I've been a California lawyer for 38 years, I'd like some psychologist to explain.

The Webmaster is welcome to pass my name on to any government official (or serous journalist)investigating these people.
