I was also a victom of the First American Consulting Company in the amount of $298.00 taken from my bank account on October 27, 2006. I spoke to Rachel Adams and Ann Brooks, employees of the company on two separate occasions. Both women explained to me that I would receive grants in the mail for no less than $5000.00 each for home mortgage help, college, and to help start my own business. They stated that it would be thousands of dollars.

I did check with the BBB in the begining of September 2006, and at that time there were no bad reports on this company. I called Ann Brooks back at the end of September 2006 to advise her that I wanted to stop the debit from my bank account, and she advised me that I couldn't do that and she would have David Miller return my call.

Mr. Miller called be back and stated that I had agreed to pay the $298.00, as I explained to him that I couldn't afford this right now because I have been having financial problems since my husband passed away in April 2006. Mr. Miller was very rude about trying to stop the payment, and stated that he would move the payment debit to October 27, 2006, but that was the best that he could do for me.

Mr. Miller stated that I would be receiving a packet to complete as soon as the payment was received because my file was on the desk of an consultant already prepared to be sent out as soon as the packet was returned by me.

At one point I called Rachel Adams back to discuss the stop payment with her, and the recording stated they were called Samaritan Consulting. When I asked if they went under 2 names she acted like she didn't know what I was talking about. She gave me a verification number to use when I called to see when I would be receiving my grants and how much money I would be receiving.

When I called back to she why I had not received my packet after the money was taken out of my account, there is a voice mail that comes on in another language, then states that the voice mail is full. This company is a ripp-off and I want my money returned to me!!! Anyone who reads this letter please do not be taken by this company....They prey on people in need of financial help. Please Beware!!!
